Now from KICKER, a true high-performance subwoofer with a reduced mounting depth that pounds unmercifully from the slimmest locations. The new CompVT Subwoofer gives you all the bass you can stand in the narrowest working space!
No thin mids here – it's real KICKER bass that can take serious power! Both the 12-inch CVT12 and 10-inch CVT10 easily handle 400 watts RMS (800 peak) without hesitation. A special four-layer voice coil provides the CVT the ability to work with severe amounts of power as do conventional KICKER woofers, without the bulk.
Bold KICKER engineering allowed the breakthrough CVT to hammer with such limited room. The woofer's round, injection-molded cone is shaped to provide maximum excursion from a slender basket. Its new ventless, solid-pole design allows it to be mounted directly against the rear wall of its small sealed or vented enclosure. Also, the spring-loaded binding posts are mounted differently than standard subwoofers to minimize size. Finally, subtract enclosure wall depth from the equation as well with a handy steel “clearance” adapter plate. These space-saving moves make for woofers with an amazing mounting depth of less than 4-1/2 inches!

It remains KICKER through-and-through. The cone's modified spoke design, 360-degree back bracing, and ribbed Santoprene® surround make KICKER woofers sound better than ever.
