Tight accurate bass without boom. Ten inch subwoofers are a good choice if you have 5" or 4" front speakers. They blend in with the smaller speakers, eliminating a 'null' between the frequencies played by the smaller speakers and the subwoofer. A good subwoofer simply makes the front speakers sound bigger than they really are. This series subwoofers are very efficient, and will run well when driven by an amplifier as small as 150 watts RMS. Don't be afraid to use amps up to 300 watts, when it comes to subwoofers, power = pleasure. A powerful amplifier will have better control over the subwoofer. Don't forget to face your subwoofers forward, not backward, and position them as far to the rear of the vehicle as possible.
